Frequently
Asked Questions
What about
your fees?
Our fees are determined on a per project basis. We choose not
to publish a schedule of fees because every client is
different. We tailor our fees to the needs of individual
clients.
What are your terms of engagement?
Typically, we ask for an initial payment of 50% of our total
fee. The balance is due once the work is delivered and
approved by you.
Who are your clients?
We choose to protect the privacy of our clients by not listing
them here. We will say that they run the gamut from Fortune
500 companies to local businesses. When references are
requested, they will be furnished.
What experience do you bring?
Our President, Jay M. Winchester, has been published well over
300 times in a variety of publications, some with national
distributions and recognizable names. We bring over a decade
of experience in writing for a wide ranging corporate
clientele. Areas of expertise include copywriting, creative
consulting, idea generation and value declarations. See our
SERVICES page for more details.
How do you select clients?
Actually, most of our clients select us. We have been blessed
in that regard. However, we do reserve the right to refuse our
services to select industries (specifically, pornography and
gambling sites). For the most part, we try to answer three
important questions before accepting a client engagement: Is
the proposed work interesting and / or fun? Is the other
company “good people?" Does the potential exist for building a
long-term, mutually-beneficial working relationship? Money
enters the picture only after these questions are answered.
Your site is so overtly Christian. Aren't you worried about
offending someone or losing business?
Our President, Jay Winchester, answers this question...
No. It's like this: If you had experienced something that was
so overwhelmingly positive, something that had touched you
deeply and changed you at the core of your being, wouldn't you
want to share it with people? To be honest, I feel a
responsibility to my Lord Jesus, to my faith and to my world
to offer to those visiting this site the chance to explore the
difference Christ can make in a life. No one visiting this
site is forced to choose to believe in Christ or to endorse
Christianity. You will not receive any additional information
regarding this subject unless you ask to receive it.
All I know is that if someone hadn't cared enough about me to
tell me about Jesus, I might have missed out on a relationship
that changed my life for the better.
I do believe that it is important for companies to reflect the
values of their leaders. I also believe that it is just as
important for companies to take a stand and operate according
to their expressed values. This is why we work to help
companies identify their values and declare them openly.
I am a Christian in business, but I am also leading and
growing a Christian business. This means that our standards of
service and quality are extremely high. It also means that, as
the leader of this company, I am accountable to the highest
Authority.
As for losing business because of this choice...I can only say
that I believe I have more to gain than I could ever lose.
